Until Dr. Horn I did not realize the extent of which I had lost my vision. And I didn’t understand the name, Vision for Life until a staff member said, open your eye, use it. I saw everything in such intricate detail and sharp brilliant colors and at that moment a man who had almost given up on life being fulfilling understood the term Vision for Life. Dr. Horn and his staff returned to me my sight and my vision for the longevity and quality of a restored life that lay before for me. In that moment I had vision not only to see, but to dream to believe in a long life filled within independence for daily living skills like driving and for my career, as well as social interaction with old and new friends and to see my family’s faces again. Dr. Horn and his staff from the time I walked in the door starting with the ladies that greeted me to the nurses and technicians that meticulously tested and measured and re-measured my eyes all the way to Dr. Horn himself who oversaw and directed every aspect of my treatment is a brilliant colloquial man that treated me with such attention and explanation demonstrated his expertise, passion for his profession and genuine care for my well being as did the staff from making and helping keep or at times rescheduling appointments to assisting me in following medical directions, helping me find options for affordable health care and continued providing enthusiastic encouragement with such kindness, understanding and professionalism I have never seen in medical office as a patient and former pharmaceutical representative of 12 years. They did for me when I couldn’t do for myself with such understanding and confidence in my outcome. They knew they were going to give the gift sight and restore my vision for my life.
Everyone was so professional but yet very caring. Never met a nicer group. Dr Horn gave me my close up sight back for which I am very grateful. The lasik was not painful at all. I would and have recommended him to anyone looking for an eye Doctor. Thank you Dr Horn and all of his associates.
It is February, 2022. I just had Cataract Surgery on both eyes.
Prior to surgery I spoke with a few of my friends who told me that I have nothing to fear and I will not feel anything. That was exactly how things went!
Dr. Horn performed both surgeries which were done 2 weeks apart.
He is simply a MIRACLE WORKER ! Not only is he a great surgeon, but also, his ‘bedside manner’ is tremendous as well. He took the time to explain things prior to surgery and he was there as well to follow-up afterwards & was very easy to talk to. His entire staff from the Front Desk to the Assistants in the Operatory were also terrific. I spoke with another facility prior to meeting with Dr. Horn and there simply was no comparison. Dr. Horn is the ‘place to be.’ I highly recommend him for your Cataract Surgeries. GREAT JOB!
My vision went from not being able to identify people at 15 feet from one eye to 20/20 in both eyes. Truly remarkable experience and my eyesight continues to improve with time. Staff was wonderful and treated me as if they had always known me. Dr. Horn greatly improved my vision in just a few minutes time.
The products offered at VFL were life changing. The process and people were like a well orchestrated concert. Everything went smoothly without any glitches. The staff at VFL and the Surgery center were top notch! Dr Horn and Team are the best! I wish I could find a medical doctor as competent and caring as Dr Horn.
Dr. Horn is an exceptional surgeon. He is caring, very informative, patient, extremely knowledgeable, takes his time in consultations answering all of my questions reassuring me and addressing all of my concerns. Both of my cataracts presented him with many challenges but his God given skill got me through, as he told me remarkably well, even better than I could have hoped for. His staff is excellent as well, skilled, and caring. Best all around medical experience, for me, ever.
My husband had lens replacement surgery one month ago. Dr. Horn did his surgery and put trifocal replacement lenses into his eye. My husband says his vision is back to what it was in his early 30s. He told me the other day he would have paid twice as much to have vision this good. Dr. Horn was thorough in his description of the procedure and he explained what he was doing in terms everyone could understand. And the office staff….well they are spectacular. Everyone is kind and they are so good at their jobs. Lorrie was especially good. Anyway, I highly recommend Dr. Horn. I can’t imagine that there is anyone out there who could do a better job!
